Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Driver near Fulton Street in San Francisco

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 12, 2024) — A man died in a pedestrian accident at Fulton Street and Arguello Boulevard.
 
According to officials, the pedestrian accident happened on January 31 around 5:30 a.m. For an unknown reason, a man started crossing an intersection when a minivan drove through a green traffic light and struck him.
 
Soon after, eyewitnesses at the scene called 911 and San Francisco police and paramedics responded. Due to his condition, emergency personnel took the victim to San Francisco General Hospital where he passed away.
 
The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office did not release his name, only identifying him as a 63-year-old.
 
At this time, investigators did not say if the driver would face any charges. However, an investigation into the details should reveal more information.
