Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Alisal Street in Salinas

 
SALINAS, CA (August 9, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Alisal Street and Skyway Boulevard on Sunday.
 
According to Salinas police, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 2:45 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a 34-year-old woman struck a 31-year-old man crossing East Alisal Street.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and tried to resuscitate the victim. However, efforts fell short, and the man succumbed to his injuries.
