MANTECA, CA (March 29, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Airport Way near Lathrop Road on Saturday.
 
According to Manteca Police, the accident happened around 7:55 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver struck a man on the road, causing him extensive injuries.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel reached the scene but pronounced him dead shortly after.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
