Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Beloit Avenue in West Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 15, 2024) – A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Beloit Avenue near Missouri Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the hit-and-run happened around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, a northbound dark-colored vehicle struck the male pedestrian walking in the same direction. Rather than stopping, the driver made a U-turn and fled southbound on Beloit Avenue.
 
Moments after the crash, Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a hospital, where he passed away. Officials have not released his name pending family notification.
