TURLOCK, CA (October 12, 2022) — A pedestrian died after a hit-and-run crash on Fulkerth Road on Tuesday, October 11.
 
According to the Turlock Police Department, the hit-and-run accident took place in the 2100 block of Fulkerth Road at around 3:31 p.m. Reports said a vehicle struck a man and fled the scene.
 
It is not yet determined if the male pedestrian walked along the roadway or was on a sidewalk or crossing the road.
 
Meanwhile, officials temporarily closed Fulkerth Road between Countryside Drive and North Tully Road.
 
Police said they continue to search for a small white vehicle. However, there are no other details about the vehicle or the driver.
