SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (August 24, 2023) – A 65-year-old man was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash at Santa Rosa Street and Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo late Saturday evening.
 
The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on August 19. According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, a vehicle struck the man at the intersection and fled the scene.
 
Responding officers and fire crews located the man in the roadway with severe injuries.
 
Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital in critical condition.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large.
