Hit-and-Run Crash on Glenoaks Boulevard in Pacoima Leaves Pedestrian in Critical Condition

 
PACOIMA, CA (July 15, 2023) – A 69-year-old man was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash on Glenoaks Boulevard in Pacoima Tuesday night on July 11.
 
The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. just north of Montford Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a light-colored sedan was traveling on Glenoaks Boulevard when it veered to the right. It then crossed over the bicycle lane and struck the man.
 
The victim was standing next to the driver’s door of his legally parked vehicle when he was struck.
 
After the crash, the driver of the car fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Paramedics arrived and rushed the man to a hospital in critical condition.
 
At this stime, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large.
 
The city of Los Angeles offered a standing reward of up to $25,000 for information that helps solve this case.
