Lori Allen Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Bolsa Chica Street near Argosy Avenue

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (June 2, 2022) — 62-year-old Lori Susan Allen of Seal Beach died in a pedestrian accident on Bolsa Chica Street near Argosy Avenue on Tuesday night.
 
According to the Orange County Coroner’s office, Allen died from her injuries sustained during the 11:00 p.m. crash. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a 2019 Toyota Highlander struck Allen outside of a marked crosswalk.
 
As a result of the accident, Allen suffered major injuries and died shortly after.
 
Following the accident, the driver and passenger of the Toyota stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Authorities do not suspect alcohol or drugs to have played a role in the accident. However, an ongoing investigation should clarify any outstanding details.
