Javier Bustillos Jr. Detained in DUI Head-On Crash on Highway 25 near Wright Road

 
HOLLISTER, CA (June 3, 2022) — Javier Angel Bustillos Jr. faces charges in a DUI head-on accident on Highway 25 near Wright Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the major injury crash happened on May 27 around 11:15 p.m. For DUI reasons, 19-year-old Bustillos Jr. allowed his southbound Ford F-150 to make a left-turning movement, causing the vehicle to cross the double solid yellow lines.
 
Subsequently, his southbound car crossed into the path of a northbound Toyota Corolla, leading to a head-on collision.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the Toyota driver suffered major injuries. Arriving officers arrested Bustillos Jr. on suspicion of driving under the influence and alcohol. He also suffered major injuries and was treated at a hospital.
