Fatal Unicycle Crash After Colliding With Garbage Truck on Octavia Boulevard in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 2, 2022) — A man on a motorized unicycle died after crashing into a garbage truck on Octavia Boulevard at Oak Street on Wednesday.
According to police and Recology officials, the fatal accident happened around 4:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, a man on a motorized unicycle crashed into the rear of the northbound truck on Octavia Boulevard.
As a result, the unicyclist suffered major injuries and died shortly after.
Following the crash, authorities responded to investigate the details. At this time, officers have not confirmed the liabilities. However, they have ruled out impairment as a possible source of the accident.
