SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 2, 2022) — A man on a motorized unicycle died after crashing into a garbage truck on Octavia Boulevard at Oak Street on Wednesday.
 
According to police and Recology officials, the fatal accident happened around 4:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, a man on a motorized unicycle crashed into the rear of the northbound truck on Octavia Boulevard.
 
As a result, the unicyclist suffered major injuries and died shortly after.
