Lisa McCuan Dead, Marrisa Humphries, Cliff Cutrell, Dan Fallis Hospitalized in Head-On Crash on Highway 29 near Diener Drive

 
CLEAR LAKE, CA (January 19, 2023) — Lisa McCuan died in a head-on accident on Highway 29 near Diener Drive Sunday morning.
 
According to a California Highway Patrol news release, the fatal 2-car crash happened around 6:31 a.m. For unknown reasons, 51-year-old Dan Fallis veered over the solid double yellow lines into the northbound lanes from the southbound lanes. Subsequently, his southbound 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 struck a northbound 2013 Toyota Highlander head-on.
 
Following the accident, 40-year-old Lisa Katherine McCuan suffered fatal injuries. Her Toyota passengers — 16-year-old Marrisa Humphries and 51-year-old Cliff Cutrell — suffered moderate to major injuries. Paramedics brought Humphries to Adventist Health Clearlake and Cutrell to Sutter Lakeside for care.
 
Meanwhile, Fallis suffered major injuries and sought care at Adventist Health Clear Lake.
 
At this time, CHP officers have no information on the leading cause of the crash. However, they have ruled out DUI as a possible source. If anyone has more information, please call the authorities.
