19-Year-Old Damond Lazenby Jr. Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Highway 4 near Port Chicago Highway

 
CONCORD, CA (November 19, 2023) — Damond Lazenby Jr. died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Highway 4 near Port Chicago Highway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Damond Lazenby Jr. was found deceased on the side of the highway near Port Chicago Highway. It appears his family reported him missing on New Year’s Day to the Concord Police Department. Following a search effort, authorities found his car abandoned near the overpass on Port Chicago Highway.
