CASTAIC, CA (June 20, 2022) – Authorities closed the northbound lane after two big rigs crashed on 5 Freeway on June 14.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just north of Templin Highway around 2:25 PM.
 
Based on a report, the incident caused massive delays for motorists in the area. In addition, it affected traffic on the northbound side of the freeway as far back as Lake Hughes Road. As of now, the details that led to the crash were not immediately available.
