One Killed in Rollover Accident on Tippecanoe Avenue at 3rd Street [San Bernardino, CA]

Fatality Reported after SUV Overturns on Tippecanoe Avenue in San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (June 20, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a rollover accident on Tippecanoe Avenue in San Bernardino early Saturday on June 18.

The accident happened around 2:40 a.m. at the intersection with 3rd Street. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, a white Chevrolet Subaru had overturned near the wash for unknown reasons.

When officers arrived, they found one person trapped in the wreckage. They also located two small dogs inside the SUV.

Life-saving measures were performed, but at least one person died at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.

Paramedics transported a second person to Loma Linda University Medical Center with minor injuries.

Animal Control was requested to take the dogs from the crash site.

At this time, police are still investigating the cause of the crash and factors involved.
