REDDING, CA (January 17, 2025) — Several lanes were blocked after a big rig and a car crashed on the 5 Freeway near Twin View Boulevard.
 
According to Caltrans District 2, a fiery two-vehicle crash happened Monday night. For an unknown reason, a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle collided near Twin View Boulevard. Subsequently, Caltrans issued a traffic alert, indicating that the southbound lanes were blocked just south of Highway 273.
