5 Hurt in 2-Car Crash at Chateau Fresno Avenue in Fresno County

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (January 17, 2025) — Five people were injured in a 2-car accident at Chateau Fresno Avenue and Jensen Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a Chevrolet Silverado pickup driver was traveling too fast. Subsequently, the truck tried to pass a Toyota RAV4 turning left from Jensen Avenue onto Chateau Fresno Avenue. However, the Chevy slammed into the back of the Toyota SUV.
 
Four people inside the Toyota SUV were taken to Community Regional Medical Center with minor to moderate injuries. The Silverado driver also claimed minor injuries.
 
Following the accident, CHP officers learned that neither driver had a valid driver’s license or car insurance.
