Car Disabled after Multi-Vehicle Accident on 5th Street near Humboldt County Superior Court in Eureka

 
EUREKA, CA (June 13, 2022) – A lane was blocked following a multi-vehicle accident on 5th Street on Friday evening.
 
According to the Eureka Police Department, the incident happened on June 10 at about 6:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a white car hit the rear of a black pickup truck in front of the Humboldt County Superior Court.
 
As per reports, a third vehicle also became involved in the collision.
 
The impact of the collision caused the white car to become disabled in the far right lane of 5th Street. Meanwhile, the driver of the black pickup moved the vehicle off the road and parked near J Street.
 
It is unknown if anyone sustained injuries in the accident.
 
Eureka police continue to investigate the cause of the collision. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
