Redlands Doctor Kyle Cooper Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash on Sunset Drive near Panorama Drive
REDLANDS, CA (September 26, 2022) — Kyle Cooper was injured in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Sunset Drive near Panorama Drive on August 26.
According to reports, the suspected hit-and-run accident took place around 5:00 p.m. Just south of Panorama Point Drive, Cooper had reportedly clocked in 15 miles per hour on his bike when he suddenly woke up in a pool of blood.
The experienced cyclist and Redlands doctor sustained serious injuries. He believes a driver might have struck him without knowing and left.
According to doctors, he suffered facial injuries consistent with a 40-mile-per-hour impact. At this time, officers do not have information on the driver or the actual events of the accident.
