18-Year-Old Kindra McAfee Killed in Kerman Car Crash

 
KERMAN, CA (October 18, 2021) — A young woman died in a car accident on Jensen Avenue near Sycamore Avenue on Saturday, October 9.
 
18-year-old Kindra McAfee of Kerman died in the accident, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office. A GoFundMe account has been set up for funeral expenses.
 
California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 4:20 p.m. McAfee drove a Camry westbound on Jensen Avenue, west of Sycamore Avenue. At the same time, a man traveled eastbound in a Jeep Grand Cherokee on Jensen Avenue.
 
McAfee overshot her turn at Sycamore Avenue and made a U-turn in front of the Jeep on the driver’s side. As a result, the cars collided.
 
McAfee died at the scene.
 
Soon after, paramedics transported four people inside the Jeep to Community Regional Medical Center with minor to moderate injuries. All were wearing a seat belts.
 
At this time, drugs and alcohol were not a factor. However, the accident is being investigated.
