Carlos Duarte Jr. Killed in Bakersfield Head-On Car Collision

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 18, 2021) — One man died in a head-on accident on Panama Lane near Wible Road early Saturday, October 9.
 
Authorities identified the victim as 25-year-old Carlos Nathan Duarte Jr. of Bakersfield.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the fatal crash happened around 4:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, Duarte Jr. let his car drift into the oncoming traffic and hit another car in 3400 block of Panama Lane.
 
Shortly after, paramedics arrived to the scene and confirmed Duarte Jr.’s death at 4:36 a.m.
 
The driver of the other car was not injured. In addition, it was determined that she was not under the influence.
