Kenneth McLeod Dead after Hit-and-Run Crash on Geary Boulevard

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (April 27, 2021) — Officials identified 28-year-old Kenneth McLeod as the man killed in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday.
 
According to Officer Adam Lobsinger, they received reports of a hit-and-run incident at around 12:20 a.m. on Saturday, April 24. Then officers responded to crash site on Geary Boulevard and Park Presidio.
 
When officers arrived at the scene, they found McLeod down in the roadway. Despite life-saving measures, he died at the scene.
 
The initial investigation suggest that the victim crossed the street against the walk signal.
 
Police said that a dark vehicle left the scene immediately after the crash.
 
Officials have not yet determined if alcohol or drugs contributed to the incident.
 
There had been no arrests reported and police have not yet released a description of the vehicle.
 
The investigation of the incident is still ongoing. Authorities ask anyone with information about the crash to call the San Francisco Police Department’s tip line at (415) 575-4444.
