Victor Sanchez Identified as Man Killed in Fiery Crash on 10 Freeway in San Dimas

 
SAN DIMAS, CA (April 27, 2021) – Authorities identified 53-year-old Victor Sanchez of Pomona as the man killed in a car accident on 10 Freeway, Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 7:35 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle crashed on the right shoulder of eastbound 10 Freeway near Via Verde.
 
Emergency crews pronounced Sanchez dead at the scene.
 
As per reports, paramedics did not transport other people involved to any local hospitals.
 
Responders shut down the Via Verde on-ramp to the eastbound freeway until 8:11 a.m. to make way for clearing operations and an investigation.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the fatal accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
