One Fatally Injured in Three-Car Crash on 405 Freeway and Beach Boulevard

 
WESTMINSTER, CA (April 27, 2021) — One person died in a three-car crash on 405 Freeway in Westminster on Monday, April 26.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 1:18 a.m. on the northbound 405 Freeway at Beach Boulevard.
 
Witnesses originally reported to the CHP that three vehicles were part of the incident. The crash included a gray Ford Mustang that blocked a right lane and a yellow Ford Focus.
 
CHP said that one person died at the scene and the coroner was called at about 1:44 a.m.
 
Officials issued a SigAlert at 1:40 a.m. for all northbound lanes at Newland Street. They also diverted traffic from the freeway at Magnolia Street. All lanes reopened at 3:24 a.m.
