Andrea Marshall Arrested for DUI after Crash on Highway 49 in Sonora, Anthony Reibin Suffers Serious Injuries

 
SONORA, CA (May 24, 2021) – Anthony Reibin sustained serious injuries in a DUI crash Thursday evening on Highway 49 in Sonora.
 
The crash happened around 7:15 p.m. on May 20, near Old Sonora Columbia Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, 37-year-old Andrea Marshall was driving a 2005 Kia Sportage northbound with the 31-year-old Sonora man as her passenger.
 
For unknown reasons, Marshall veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
 
As a result, both Marshall and Reibin suffered major injuries. Responding emergency crews rushed them to a hospital for treatment.
 
Officials believe that Marshall was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. They arrested her at the hospital after being treated. They transported her to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked her for felony DUI at $25,000 bail.
 
An investigation is ongoing at this time.
