Adelanto Car Accident Kills Driver Slobodan Vasovic and Passenger Keitrick Edwards

 
ADELANTO, CA (June 3, 2021) – A driver and a young passenger died after an accident on Highway 395 at Holly Road on Saturday, May 29.
 
At around 2:25 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a two-vehicle traffic collision at the intersection near the Adelanto Stadium. After that, San Bernardino County firefighters found a gold-colored 2002 Toyota Camry and a white 2006 GMC Sierra.
 
The driver of a 2006 GMC pick-up truck, 65-year-old Adelanto resident Slobodan Vasovic was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
6-year-old Keitrick Alonzo Anthony Edwards of San Bernardino was a rear passenger in a 2002 Toyota Camry. He was transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
 
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Adelanto Station is investigating the collision.
 
At this time, the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
