Keith Alan Killed in Hit-and-Run on Western Avenue [Buena Park, CA]

Hit-and-Run Crash on Western Avenue in Buena Park Kills Man and Leaves Woman in Critical Condition

 
BUENA PARK, CA (August 18, 2021) – Keith Alan died in a hit-and-run crash on Western Avenue at Auto Center Drive in Buena Park Saturday night.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:40 p.m. on August 14, just north of 5 Freeway. According to the Buena Park Police Department, Alan and his wife Tami were on a date night. They were traveling southbound on Western Avenue on a green light.
 
A red SUV traveling westbound on Auto Center Drive ran a red light and struck the driver’s side of the couple’s vehicle. The driver of the truck then fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.
 
Responding officers pronounced Alan dead at the scene.
 
Paramedics rushed Tami to a hospital in critical condition.
 
The Buena park couple was married for 30 years. The victims’ family has begun GoFundMe page For those who want to help them with funerals and medical expenses.
 
An investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
