Kannon Pandy Killed in Two-Car Accident on Challenger Way [Lancaster, CA]

19-Year-Old Driver Dies after Crash with Another Car in Lancaster

 
LANCASTER, CA (September 28, 2023) – Kannon Pandy was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Lancaster late Monday evening on September 25.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:40 p.m. on Challenger Way near Avenue H-4. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster Station, Pandy was driving a sedan northbound on Challenger Way when he made a left turn into the path of an SUV which was traveling southbound.
 
As a result, Pandy suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 19-year-old Lancaster resident, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
 
The man driving the SUV was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
It is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
