Kade Pascal Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on 5 Freeway [Kern County, CA]

Semi Truck and Sedan Collide on 5 Freeway in Kern County Killing at Least 1 Person

 
KERN COUNTY, CA (March 12, 2023) – Kade Reed Pascal was killed in a two-vehicle accident on 5 Freeway in Kern County Tuesday evening on March 7.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:34 p.m. near Twisselman Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Pascal was driving a white sedan when he rear-ended a semi truck in the northbound lanes of the freeway.
 
As a result, Pascal suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 24-year-old Carmichael resident.
 
It is unknown what caused the crash or if there were other injuries sustained.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the accident.
