Jose Rodas Charged in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Cottonwood Avenue and Graham Street

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (November 20, 2023) Jose Rodas faces DUI and hit-and-run charges in a pedestrian accident near Cottonwood Avenue and Graham Street, where he left a utility worker with life-threatening injuries.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the hit-and-run happened around 3:20 a.m. Friday. Under unclear circumstances, 21-year-old Jose Andres Mateo Rodas lost control of his vehicle and struck a 52-year-old Eastern Municipal Water District employee working near the intersection.
 
Subsequently, Rodas sped off from the scene until patrol deputies found him a brief time later.
