Jesai Andrews Struck and Killed by Car on Ingerson Avenue [Bayview, CA]

12-Year-Old Boy Fatally Struck while Riding Skateboard in Bayview

 
BAYVIEW, CA (February 10, 2021) – A 12-year-old boy was struck and killed by a car Wednesday morning while riding a skateboard in the Bayview neighborhood.
 
The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as San Francisco resident Jesai Andrews.
 
Responding officers found Andrews suffering from life-threatening injuries in the 900 block of Ingerson Avenue around 10:10 a.m.
 
Paramedics performed life-saving measures, but Andrews died at the scene.
 
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
Police have not determined whether driver impairment played a role in the accident.
