23-Year-Old Man Dies in Industrial Accident in Fresno County
FRESNO, CA (February 7, 2021) – A man died in an industrial accident Sunday morning in an orchard in Fresno County.
The discovery happened just before 10:00 a.m. in the area Clarkson Avenue and Highland Avenue.
According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, 23-year-old Jesus Barboza Banuelos of Kerman was working in the orchards when for unknown reasons was pulled into the shredder.
Banuelos sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
It appeared the victim was working alone in the orchard on Saturday when he was caught in the machine.
An investigation into this fatal industrial accident is underway.
