Multi-Vehicle Crash on 60 Freeway in Pomona Kills 34-Year-Old Man

 
POMONA, CA (April 30, 2023) – Jay Yang was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in the Phillips Ranch area of Pomona Friday morning on April 28.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:00 a.m. on 60 Freeway near Phillips Ranch Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Saturn, a gray Nissan sedan, a Ford van and a motorcycle collided for unknown reasons.
 
Yang, a 34-year-old Arcadia resident, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. It is unclear which of the vehicles he was in.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the cause of the crash and factors involved.
