Driver Dies after Colliding into Work Truck on Ashlan Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (April 30, 2023) – A man in his 30s was killed in a traffic accident at Ashlan Avenue and Marks Avenue in northwest Fresno on Friday morning.
 
The accident happened just after 10:45 a.m. on April 28. According to the Fresno Police Department, the man was driving a minivan north on Marks Avenue when he collided into the back of a work truck pulled to the side of the road.
 
Responding emergency crews rushed the man to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
The identity of the deceased was not officially released.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
