34-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Several Vehicles in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (February 26, 2024) – Jaime E. Munguia was hit and killed by multiple vehicles in Hesperia early Saturday morning on February 24.
 
The fatal crash happened around 1:30 a.m. on Main Street, just between Escondido Avenue and Pyrite Avenue. According to the Hesperia Police Department, Munguia was struck by several vehicles in unclear circumstances.
 
Responding firefighters found Munguia’s deceased body in the eastbound lanes of Main Street.
 
The victim was 34 years old from Palm Springs.
 
The sheriff’s office said at least one of the drivers involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
At this time, an investigation is ongoing. Police urged anyone with information to come forward. No further details were immediately available.
