Jada Gipson Dies after Two-Car Accident in Culver City

 
CULVER CITY, CA (June 21, 2022) – A woman died after her car rear-ended another vehicle, left the roadway, and hit a light pole splitting it in two in Culver City on Saturday, June 18.
 
22-year-old Palmdale resident Jada Taylor Gipson died at the scene of the accident, according to the coroner’s office.
 
The accident happened around 10:16 p.m. near La Cienega Boulevard and Wrightcrest Drive. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Gipson was driving southbound on La Cienega Boulevard when she rear-ended another vehicle. As a result, the impact caused her vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a light pole.
 
Gipson was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The condition of the other motorist was not immediately known.
 
At this time, police are still investigating the exact cause of the crash and factors involved.
