Authorities Identify 39-Year-Old Woman Killed by Hit-and-Run Vehicle in Richmond

 
RICHMOND, CA (March 5, 2023)Jacqueline Elizabeth Rodriguez was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Richmond on February 18.
 
The fatal crash happened in the area of Carlson Boulevard and Cutting Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, Rodriguez was crossing the street when a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed struck her.
 
After the crash, the involved driver did not stop to render aid.
 
Responding officers found Rodriguez lying in the roadway with fatal injuries. They pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
The Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office said Rodriguez was a 39-year-old Richmond resident.
 
No arrests have been announced in the case yet and the police investigation is still ongoing.
