29-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Vehicle on 15 Freeway in Fontana

 
FONTANA, CA (December 29, 2021) – Irene Hernandez was killed in a pedestrian accident on 15 Freeway in Fontana Thursday last week.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:09 p.m. on December 23, near Duncan Canyon Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Hernandez was walking in the area when a vehicle struck her.
 
First responders attempted saving Hernandez, but she died at the scene. She was a 29-year-old San Bernardino resident, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Office.
 
No additional information was immediately available. The CHP is still investigating the accident.
