Truck Accident in San Francisco Snarls Traffic on Bay Bridge

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 16, 2022) — At least one person was injured in a rollover crash on the 80 Freeway in San Francisco.
 
The incident happened Tuesday afternoon at about 3:52 p.m. east of Treasure Island Road. Based on reports from the California Highway Patrol, a dump truck crashed on the eastbound lanes of the Bay Bridge/80 Freeway. The truck rolled over as a result of the impact. It was not clear whether there were other vehicles involved.
 
The CHP confirmed there were injuries sustained in the accident but did not elaborate further. Meanwhile, the right lanes of the 80 Freeway were blocked. They reopened at about 4:35 p.m.
