Elderly Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Alamo Street in Simi Valley

 
SIMI VALLEY, CA (November 16, 2022) – A 70-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on Alamo Street in Simi Valley late Tuesday afternoon on November 15.
 
Around 5:34 p.m., the male pedestrian was crossing the street near a crosswalk when a Ford F-150 pickup truck hit him in the 2300 block of Alamo Street.
 
Responding paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he later died.
 
The driver of the pickup truck, a Simi Valley man in his 50s, stayed on scene and cooperated with police. There was no indication that he was impaired by alcohol or drugs.
 
The Simi Valley Police Department is still investigating the fatal accident.
