Driver Arrested after DUI Rollover Crash on Highway 99 near Manning Avenue

 
FOWLER, CA (November 28, 2022) – At least one person needed hospitalization following a DUI accident on Highway 99, early Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on November 23, at about 3:00 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, three vehicles collided near Manning Avenue.
 
The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn.
 
The Fresno County Fire arrived to extricate one victim from the overturned vehicle. Then, a ground ambulance transported the victim to a hospital.
 
Emergency crews treated other injured passengers at the scene.
 
Responders temporarily closed two lanes on northbound Highway 99 to make way for an investigation.
 
Meanwhile, authorities arrested one driver on suspicion of DUI.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
