Ian Streebel Arrested in DUI Head-On Crash on Lakeville Highway [Petaluma, CA]

Police Arrest Santa Rosa Man for DUI after Head-On Crash on Lakeville Highway in Petaluma

 
PETALUMA, CA (September 24, 2023) – Ian Streebel was arrested in a DUI head-on crash in Petaluma Tuesday morning on September 19.
 
The crash happened just after 11:00 a.m. on Lakeville Highway at Pine View Way. According to the Petaluma Police Department, Streebel was driving a blue Chevrolet truck when he lost control, swerved into oncoming traffic and broadsided a green Kia Soul that was heading in the opposite direction.
 
As a result of the crash, three occupants in the Kia sustained minor to moderate injuries. Paramedics transported them to an area hospital for treatment.
 
Streebel, a 32-year-old Santa Rosa man, was also taken to a hospital for evaluation and treatment.
 
After he was medically cleared, policed transported him to the Sonoma County jail and booked him for felony DUI with injury.
 
Officers said suspected prescription medications were found inside the Chevrolet.
