Man Arrested after Rear-End Crash on Aero Drive in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 17, 2021) – Officials confirmed that a high-speed police chase led to a rear-end crash on Aero Drive on November 14.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at approximately 11:20 PM.
 
Based on an initial report, police chased a vehicle that was speeding west on Highway 94. Subsequently, the vehicle headed south on 5 Freeway. Then, it rear-ended a sedan near Aero Drive, causing both vehicles to spin out of the lanes. In the end, the first vehicle caught fire in the incident.
 
Fortunately, emergency crews said no one was hurt in the crash.
 
Afterward, the driver of the first vehicle put his hands in the air and surrendered to CHP officers.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. Also, no other details are available.
