HANFORD, CA (April 19, 2024) — A 70-year-old pedestrian was hit and injured by a motorcycle on 6th Street near Green Street.
 
According to the Hanford Police Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a man in his 20s operating a motorcycle struck a 70-year-old woman in the 400 block of East 6th Street.
 
Subsequently, paramedics arrived at the scene and found the woman on the ground with major injuries. Due to her condition, emergency personnel ushered her to a hospital for higher care.
 
At this time, authorities do not have an explanation for what might have led to the crash. However, if anyone has information on this accident, please call Hanford police.
