Early Morning Rollover Crash on 15 Freeway in Fallbrook Kills Couple

 
FALLBROOK, CA (September 20, 2023) – Hector Jovany Fernandez and Jessica Bedolla were killed in a rollover accident in Fallbrook earlier this month on September 10.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:55 a.m. on 15 Freeway at East Mission Road. According to the CHP, Fernandez was driving a Lexus SUV with his wife Bedolla. For unknown reasons, the SUV veered off the eastbound side of the freeway and up an embankment along East Mission Road. It then collided into the freeway overpass and overturned.
 
Fernandez, 32, and Bedolla, 28, both died at the scene, according to the county Medical Examiner’s Office. They were newly married Reseda residents.
 
Authorities have not yet determined whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
 
Fernandez’s sister set up a GoFundMe page to pay for her brother and sister-in-law’s funeral costs.
