LAKE ISABELLA, CA (March 25, 2024) — A head-on accident on Highway 178 near Paradise Cove sent one car off a cliff Thursday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 8:30 p.m. For an unknown reason, two sedans collided head-on along eastbound Highway 78. Subsequently, one of the vehicles veered off the road and a cliff.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel and CHP officers responded to the scene. Authorities did not confirm if anyone was hurt in the crash, which left all lanes blocked for a several moments.
