Grant Gosch Hospitalized, Geovanny Larreynaga Unhurt in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in Willits

 
WILLITS, CA (April 5, 2024) — Grant Gosch suffered major injuries in a 2-car accident on Highway 101 in Willits.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 1:38 a.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, an Econo-type passenger vehicle was stationary on the road without its lights on. Subsequently, a loaded truck and trailer, driven by Geovanny Larreynaga struck the van.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel arrived at the scene and took the van driver, identified as Grant Gosch from Cottonwood, to Enloe Medical Center in Chico for treatment of major life-threatening injuries. Larreynaga reported no injuries in the accident.
 
Due to the accident, which left the highway open with one-way traffic control, authorities investigated the collision to identify the cause. However, if anyone has more information, please call the Ukiah CHP.
