Police Arrest Garrett Young after Running Over a Woman in Millbrae Starbucks’ Parking Lot

 
MILLBRAE, CA (September 22, 2021) – Police arrested Garrett Young for attempted murder after allegedly running over a woman early Monday morning in Millbrae.
 
The incident happened around 12:21 a.m. on September 20, in the parking lot of Starbucks at 513 Broadway. According to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, officials were doing a business check in the area when they found the unresponsive female lying face down.
 
Surveillance video shows the 23-year-old suspect in a gray BMV SUV running over the woman several times. Police said Young hit the victim on purpose, calling the incident premeditated.
 
The woman was transported to San Francisco General Hospital and underwent surgery.
 
During the investigation, a deputy located the BMW parked in front of a home on Henry Place. They also found Young and booked him into the Maguire Correctional Facility.
