Man Dies in Accident With Big Rig on Warren Road

 
HEMET, CA (September 22, 2021) — A man died in a crash with a big rig on Warren Road near Esplanade Avenue Monday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 6:45 am. For unknown reasons, a 52-year-old driver in a white Chevrolet Silverado veered from the northbound to the southbound lane.
 
There, it came in contact with a southbound semi-truck whose driver attempted to swerve out of the way. However, both vehicles collided at about 55 miles per hour.
 
Following the accident, the driver of the Chevrolet died at the scene. His identity has not been released but reports have described him as a man from Fremont.
 
At this time, police have much to investigate. Although, any witnesses who can help the authorities should contact the CHP.
