Early Morning Traffic Accident on 110 Freeway near Elysian Park Leaves 1 Dead

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 27, 2023) – Gabriela Maria Buelna was killed in a traffic accident on a freeway transition road near Elysian Park early Thursday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:10 a.m. on October 26, from the northbound 110 Freeway to the northbound 5 Freeway.
 
CHP officials did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but they confirmed that one person died at the scene.
 
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified Buelna as the fatal victim. She was a 24-year-old Los Angeles resident.
 
Crews closed some freeway lanes while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
