ARTESIA, CA (August 11, 2023) – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at Pioneer Boulevard and East 183rd Street in Artesia on Wednesday morning.
 
The accident happened around 10:00 a.m. on August 9. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle and a patrol cruiser collided. As a result of the crash, the deputy cruiser became wedged between a power pole and a building.
 
According to the sheriff’s department, the law enforcement SUV was on a call for service when the crash occurred.
 
Paramedics transported one person to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
